Breakdown Service

Lift Emergency Cover provides a 24 hour emergency call out service 365 days a year which is particularly important where lift operation is needed around the clock or there is a risk passengers could be trapped.

The General Lift Company is well resourced to offer complete Lift Emergency Cover.

Resources include:
In depth knowledge of lift systems with full technical backup available from senior staff.
Emergency response vehicles carry a wide range of spares
Response normaly within 2 hours (maximum 4 hours)
The General Lift Company lifts can be fitted with hands free auto dialler emergency call systems which will automatically make the Emergency Call direct to our Duty Engineers on activation of the lift emergency alarm button.

Our emergency breakdown service offers peace of mind through the knowledge that The General Lift Company are available 24 hours a day to put your lift back into service.

Priority Emergency Call response is provided to existing Maintenance Contract customers, who are provided with direct Emergency Call numbers with their Maintenance Contract.

The General Lift accepts and responds quickly to Emergency Calls from the Emergency Services.

Emergency calls from customers without Service Contracts may only be accepted during office hours
